3 Heather Lane

Meticulously designed by its current owners and custom built in 2014 by Tierra Concepts, this exceptional single-level Santa Fe-style residence is perched high (7,200 ft) on a mesa above Tesuque Village in the small gated development of Tesuque Villas. Set on 3.5 secluded acres of beautifully landscaped environs, this all-electric home (partially solar powered) affords panoramic vistas in every direction - from Santa Fe Baldy and the Sangres to the east, to the entire Jemez range across the Rio Grande Valley to the west, with breathtaking sunsets year-around. The front entrance opens into a spacious living and dining "great room," with corner kiva fireplace and large picture windows to reveal the sweeping views. This majestic space (with conjoining kitchen and pantry) features high viga-latilla ceilings and solid hickory flooring - handsome design elements that recur throughout the home. This space links seamlessly with a wrap-around portal and walled garden - ideal for gatherings large and small, as well as outdoor dining and relaxation. A central galleried corridor fosters engaging passage through the home, past the primary bedroom suite (with luxury bathroom) and two other bedrooms to a private guest suite. These four bedrooms and their three bathrooms are well-suited to multiple purposes. The guest suite bedroom can be a music or other activity room; and another bedroom, with built-in shelving, makes an excellent office. All have stunning Sangre or Jemez vistas, as do a boardwalk, enclosed porch, and roof deck. This gem, in one of Santa Fe's most coveted settings, blends tranquility, craftsmanship and breathtaking views. Wonderfully secluded from tourists and traffic, it still is only minutes from the Four Seasons Resort and Tesuque Village Market, and not many more to town's edge.
